HKPDA council members have a fruitful meeting with Public Consultants Doctors' Group, consultants and doctors last evening. The agreed plans are as follows.
- A) We have clear and firm target which is "to follow same adjustment according to 2013 Civil Service Pay Level Survey. i.e. for HA staff who were remunerated equivalent to Government Master Pay Scale point 45 or above, their salaries are to be raised by 3% with effect from 1st October 2014".
- B) We need to inform all grades of HA doctors that this potential first-ever delink may affect Residents, Medical Officers, Associate Consultants, Senior Medical Officers and Consultants.
- C) We plan to call for a Doctors' Forum concerning this 3% issue. HAHO colleagues, Public Consultants Doctors, Frontline Doctors, DSGCC members and of course HKPDA members are invited to join this Doctors' Forum. The number of attendance is crucial and so please help to forward the coming HKPDA news. If your doctor friends want to receive more 3% news, ask them either to send email to hkpda2012@gmail.com
